GBP Suspensions
Email the Customer
Hello {Customer},
We are sorry to see that your Google Business Listing is suspended.
As we work to reach out to Google to get this fixed, we want to let you know the process and what you could expect.
To reinstate a listing, we have to submit a form request. Please provide us with the following:
- Your Business Registration/License displays the business name and address that match the listing you are appealing for. Accepted documents include official business registration, business license, or tax certificates.
- A utility bill displaying the same business name and address as your registration/license. Utilities may include any of the following: electricity, phone, gas, water, sewage, trash, recycling, TV, and interne
- Picture of Tools & Equipment that you use to carry out your work
- If you have a vehicle, pictures that show the vehicle in the local area where you meet customers
Google states, "To avoid delays, submit one reinstatement request per account." Google also mentions that it can respond as soon as 3 days. However, the last few suspensions we have helped overturn have taken Google 13 days for them to respond to the initial form submission.
While we wait for Google to respond, there isn't much we can do. We review the listing and make sure everything follows Google's guidelines.
After we get a response from Google (not the auto-responder email), we get a Case ID #. The email may state that the listing is fixed and reinstated. If it doesn't, we can use that Case ID # to escalate the issue further in the Google Community Support Forum. Unfortunately, we need a Case ID # to post in the Support Forum to escalate it.
Once we get a response from Google, we will let you know.
