Quick Breakdown

  • Registrar WHOIS Server & URL - points to what registrar the domain is being held
  • Updated Date - The most recent time a change happened to the domain
  • Creation Date - When the domain was first created
  • Registry Expiry Date - When the domain is set to expire. Keep in mind, some people might have it on auto-renew. Best way to tell is if the last update date, creation date, and expiry date are all the same month and day.
  • Name Server - This is where the actual DNS records are located.
