Customer must send a request to support@nearbynow.co requesting it to be changed. They must send a request from the email that the original review was submitted through. If it was a text message, they would need to include the number the review was sent to.

Below is a template email you can send to customers who seem interested in Nearby Now but aren't signed up yet.

Every time you serve a customer, quick check-ins give you local search value for every city and neighborhood your customers come from, keyword value for everything you do, and a relevant media photo or video rankings boost.

Those pages show up in search in instances where the homepage cannot. If clients want to see city-specific information, we provide different ways for them to navigate to those city pages within your website. The value of these pages is to increase your exposure within search engines via those pages ranking and making your website more relevant as a whole.

Review Request Guide

Nearby Now is a review system that works directly with the technician's smartphone. Our companies get an average of 50 online reviews from every 100 customers asked. These reviews automatically get posted to your website to individual landing pages for the cities the reviews come from. These landing review pages not only give Google social proof that you work in these cities, but the pages also contain an automatically created heat map showing customers everywhere in that city you have worked, as well as a technician check-in (similar to four-square) of the job he performed with a picture of what he worked on. The benefit of the technician check-ins is that they not only show the customer that you do what they are looking for, but they automatically create keyword-rich content that basically lets the review pages being created be found for everything you do.

To download the Nearby Now App for iPhones/iPads, go to the AppStore and search "Nearby Now." The author of the app should be "Nearby Now LLC." On Android phones/ tablets, go to the Play Store and search for the same thing to download the app. When you find the Nearby Now App, it should be free to download. The Nearby Now system is only compatible with iPhones, iPads, Android Phones, and Android Tablets. Windows phones and tablets are not compatible with the Nearby Now System.

Review Request Guide

Nearby Now is a review system integrated with your technicians' smartphones. On average, companies using Nearby Now receive 50 online reviews for every 100 customers they ask. These reviews are automatically posted to your website via individual landing pages for each city in which the reviews originate. Not only does this provide Google with valuable social proof of your business’s presence in these cities, but each city-specific landing page also includes an automatically generated heat map showing where your company has worked within the city. Additionally, the technician check-ins feature (similar to FourSquare) displays job details, along with photos of the work completed. This helps demonstrate to customers that you offer the services they’re seeking while also generating keyword-rich content that enhances the searchability of your review pages.

To download the Nearby Now App:

For iPhones/iPads: Go to the AppStore and search "Nearby Now" by "Nearby Now LLC."

For Android phones/tablets: Go to the Play Store and search for the same app. The app should be free to download.

The Nearby Now system is compatible with iPhones, iPads, Android phones, and Android tablets. Unfortunately, Windows phones and tablets are not supported.

This email template will vary depending on how often the customer is using NBN, how impactful it will have on their rankings, and the market they are in. Before responding to a customers cancelation form that comes in, look into the rankings for the city pages, and ask PBD for some data to showcase to the customer the negative effects of what canceling will do to their website. You can always offer the customer to freeze their NBN so that way they are still getting the positive effects from their work on NBN, but they just can't add anything new and it's only $40/month. You can also offer them custom city pages that we can write for them or a city page template we can write.

We have received a request to cancel your Nearby Now subscription. I wanted to inform you that your website rankings will drop significantly. As you can see in the attachment, Nearby Now accounts for a substantial amount of your search results.

Before I cancel Nearby Now, I want to mention that the reviews are just a small part of its value. Most of the benefit comes from its ability to regularly post SEO-rich content to your website. When Nearby Now is turned off, the city pages are removed, and the value gathered also goes away. Please note that Nearby Now's pages currently account for over BLANK of the first-page organic rankings we track (the report can be viewed via your OA Stats within the Page Pilot dashboard). Though not immediately, these rankings will disappear and the value you gained from them will go away.

Step by Step NBN Help

Sign into Nearby Now and choose the account for the customer you want to add the storefront for.

Once in the correct company, click Google Business Profile then Locations.

Once in there, click Add Google Location.

Choose Support OA Google account and click Select This Google Account.

Type in the Companies name in the Location Name search bar and click Search Locations. If you can't find the company, clear the search bar and hit the Search Locations and scroll until you can find it.

When you find the profile, click Add This Google Location.

Sign into the CID of the customer that wants cities removed.

Go to Site Content Manager and in the Site Pages find the Reviews By City folder and open it.

Either right-click and choose Disable and move the page from the folder to the Deleted Items bin.

If disabling or removing the page doesn't work, find the content block containing the city list and delete the city from the list.

Sign into NBN and find the company you want to delete the duplicate check-in for.

Click Reports then Checkins then Checkins List.

Find the duplicate checkin and click the 3 circles on the right hand side of the screen for the checkin.

Go down to Delete Checkin and click it and the check in will be deleted.

Sign into Nearby Now and find the company you are wanting to freeze.

Always download reviews and check ins before freezing the account.

Next, download the customers reviews. Go to this link once you are signed in - https://admin.nearbynow.co/reports/completedreviewslist?begin=2016-01-01&end=2030-01-01. Once there, click the Download button and then choose CSV.

Next, download the customers check-ins. Go to this link https://admin.nearbynow.co/reports/checkinslist?begin=2016-01-01&end=2030-01-01. Once there, click the Download button and then choose CSV.

Once the two CSV's are downloaded, then click Account Settings then click Profile.

Scroll until you are in the Billing section. Click the dropdown button on the right hand side and choose Freeze Account.

A pop up will appear and you will choose Freeze account.

Once you have NBN handled, you will create a ticket to billing@online-access.com and inform them to change the billing for the specific CID and company name for Nearby Now and to freeze the account and charge them $40/month.

Email the customer and give them the checkins and reviews and inform them that the account has been frozen.

When a customer returns to OA for Nearby Now, we need to update the friendly URL's to be new ones. First, create a task for development and ask them to Please redirect the following pages and provide the links AFTER the .com that you want to redirect.

Example: /webapp/p/486/city-state-ac-repair-service

Then provide the link you want the pages to redirect to.

Below is an example of how a task should layout

Once Dev completes the task, doubl check and make sure the redirects are working as intended. ONLY check the links with the live domain, as the temp domain isn't affected by these.
