One of our primary goals is to maintain a professional work environment that’s still casual enough to be enjoyed by all. To that end, there are some ground rules to promote departmental harmony and help everything to flow as smoothly as possible.

Mission Statement

We are dedicated to giving the best customer support in the industry, hands-down. We excel by having warm & welcoming voices, knowledgeable employees, quick response times and competitive pricing. What truly sets us apart though is that we genuinely care about our customers.

Values & Expectations

We have been able to fulfill our Mission by maintaining a supportive, family atmosphere where we expect the best from each other and gracefully help one-another when we fall short. Each one of us is human and each of us will make mistakes – That’s part of life. However, I expect when you stumble that you will own it and learn from it. Likewise, I expect everyone to be supportive and encouraging, remembering that they’ve “been there” before themselves.

This is what is expected from you every time you walk through the door in the morning:

Professionalism & Pride
  • Own your role
  • Do it to the best of your ability
  • Have a ‘here to work’ attitude.
Strive to be better
  • Try to think if it could be done better, or if something else should be done as well, to achieve the same goal or better.
Humility & Grace
  • Be Responsible for your shortcomings and gracious towards the shortcomings of others.
  • Give Feedback
  • Help me help you - Communicate.
  • If something is confusing or could be improved upon – tell someone that can help. If they’re unaware, they can’t help.
  • Doing the best we can
  • Always be 'active' when doing a task. Think critically.
  • If you can't finish anything that you're assigned to do, within the accepted timeline, take action and reach out for help before “the eleventh hour”.
  • If you are found to be spending time surfing the web on non-work related sites (while not on lunch), your manager will have a meeting with you and a warning will be issued.

If it’s found to be an ongoing issue, further disciplinary action will be taken.

If you have to take a call/text, please notify your manager (if not before, definitely afterward you take care of your business).

If you are found to be spending time on your phone (while not on lunch), your manager will have a meeting with you and a warning will be issued.

If your manager believes that excessive phone usage is still taking place, you will not be allowed to use your phone at your desk at all.

You’re allowed to listen to music while working via on-computer streaming services like Spotify, Pandora, etc.

You are not allowed to listen to...

    • Music on your phone
    • Music out loud that may interfere with phone calls or that may distract your other coworkers.

If there’s an issue between you and another coworker, we would suggest you try to speak with the other person first to see if it can be resolved between you and that person. Hopefully, it’s a misunderstanding that can be resolved between just the two of you.

If the issue isn’t resolved (or if you feel the issue warrants going to your manager directly), then bring in your manager to mediate the issue.

Gossip will not be tolerated. If someone approaches you to gossip, recommend that they speak to the person they have an issue with.

If you’re experiencing an issue with your computer, please go to your manager about it first and let them decide the next course of action.

Please indicate on the department Slack channel when you’re leaving your desk and follow-up on it as well when you return to your workstation.

If you are found to be away from your computer, whether in office or remote, more than necessary, you will be verbally warned.

While you’re on the clock, you’re expected to be working.

If you run out of work to do, please notify your superior so they can assign you something else
